Job summary

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree required.
• Must be a member in good standing of the State Bar of Georgia.
• 4–6 years of practicing attorney experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research on municipal, state and federal laws and interpret them to advise on contracts.
• Oversee bid protests and contract disputes, including change orders.
• Ensure procurement and contracting processes are followed.
• Evaluate risks and obligations and provide legal advice throughout procurement.
• Establish relationships with city agencies and departments to support clients.
• Participate on projects to improve the Contracts Management Services Team.
