Job summary

State-of-West-Virgini is seeking a District 4 Construction Office Manager to oversee the daily administrative, operational, and business practices of the District 4 Construction Office. You will supervise the Finals Section and manage submittals, payments, and recordkeeping in Site Manager and AWP.

Qualifications include WV TRET Board Level 5 Transportation Engineering Technologist certification or pre-certification, willingness to travel with a valid license, and familiarity with WVDOT specs

Qualifications

• Certification as Engineering Technologist by the WV Transportation Engineering Technician Certification Board.
• Pre-Certification as an Engineering Technologist by the WV Transportation Engineering Technician Certification Board.
• Travel may be required; a valid driver’s license is required.
• Licensed land surveyor must have current state license from the State Board of Examiners for Land (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily administrative, operational, and business practices of the District 4 Construction Office.
• Directly supervise the Finals Section supervisor and manage contractor submittal reviews and timekeeping.
• Oversee district-wide contractor payment processing, change order processing, and record filing.
• Ensure familiarity with WV DOT specifications, policies, and business operations and manage project proposals and plan distribution.
