Job summary

The State of West Virginia is seeking a District 4 Construction Office Manager (working title) to oversee daily administrative, operational, and business practices of the District 4 Construction Office. You will supervise the Finals Section supervisor and manage contractor submittals, district-wide payments, general bookkeeping, estimates, and change orders within Site Manager and AWP.

Qualified candidates will understand WV DOT specifications, policies, and operations; possess Engineering

Qualifications

• Certification as Engineering Technologist per WV board, or pre-certification.
• No prior experience required.
• Travel may be required; valid driver’s license.
• Licensed land surveyor must hold current state license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee District 4 Construction Office operations and daily admin.
• Supervise Finals Section supervisor and manage contractor submittals.
• Coordinate district-wide contractor payment processing and change orders.
