Job summary

RK&K is seeking a Transportation Project Manager to lead a team of engineers on multi-modal planning and design projects across the DMV area. This role involves coordinating with clients, sub-consultants, and government agencies to deliver quality plans and cost estimates.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in civil/transportation engineering, a PE license, and proficiency with OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation, InRoads, and Microsoft Office. Hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

• Ten(10)+ years of experience in civil engineering design and/or transportation/highway engineering.
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Experience using OpenRoads Designer / MicroStation / InRoads and strong proficiency in Microsoft Products.
• Strong understanding of Federal, State and local design criteria.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-modal transportation planning and design projects.
• Review and certify engineering plans, models and documents to meet quality standards.
• Mentor junior staff on transportation design tasks.
• Direct project staff and sub-consultants on various projects.
• Coordinate and develop relationships with clients, consultants, and agencies.
• Support proposal and business development efforts across RK&K.
