Job summary

RK&K is looking for a dynamic Transportation Project Manager to lead transportation projects for VDOT and municipal clients. This role involves managing a team of engineers and coordinating multi-modal transportation planning efforts, while ensuring the quality and compliance of engineering standards.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in civil engineering and hold a P.E. license. This position offers a hybrid work environment and various benefits, including health insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in civil engineering design or transportation/highway engineering.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
• Experience with Federal, State, and local design criteria.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-modal transportation planning and design projects.
• Review and certify engineering plans, models and documents.
• Mentor junior staff on transportation design tasks.
• Produce construction documents and specifications.
