Baxter & Woodman Inc. seeks a transportation engineer to lead design and development of projects for State, County, Tollway, and Local Agencies in Illinois. Expect IDOT Phase I/II bid document work, client management, and travel across Illinois offices.

Qualified candidates will have a B.S. in Civil Engineering, a PE license, and at least 5 years of experience with IDOT projects. Salary ranges from $105,000 to $130,000 with robust benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer certification is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of transportation projects for state, county, tollway, and local agencies.
• Prepare and review IDOT/Local Agency Phase I & II bid documents.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across Baxter & Woodman’s Illinois offices.
