Project Manager – Roadway/Highway Engineering

Leverage Search Group is seeking an experienced Roadway/Highway Engineering Project Manager to lead Phase I and Phase II IDOT/Tollway projects across Illinois. The role requires strong technical leadership, project management experience, and a P.E. license.

Responsibilities

• Act as Project Manager on Phase I and Phase II IDOT/Tollway projects.
• Provide technical leadership: QA/AC, mentoring, and guidance to engineers.
• Work closely with local agency clients throughout Illinois.
• Manage workload and adapt to changes in project schedule, scope, and additional services.

Qualifications

• Background in Roadway/Highway Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in design for IDOT, tollway, or local agency projects.
• Strong technical skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license for the state of Illinois.

Compensation

Base pay range: $130,000 – $175,000 per year (unadjusted for individual qualifications); additional yearly bonus.
