Job summary

HNTB is seeking a Project Manager I – Engineering to lead project scopes, schedules and budgets across multiple corporate initiatives. You will coordinate technical tasks, develop proposals, and ensure client satisfaction under the SDA framework.

This role requires strong leadership, clear communication with clients, and collaboration across cross-functional teams. You will manage staffing, contribute to business development efforts, and mentor junior staff while ensuring quality delivery on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 8 years of relevant experience.
• 2 years task management or Deputy PM experience.
• Professional certifications such as PE, AICP or PMP are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope and fee quotation; assist with technical proposals and contracts.
• Serve as the primary client liaison; manage the project team to deliver scope, schedule and budgets.
• Perform technical discipline tasks including analysis, design, reports and specifications.
• Implement project delivery plan and lead development and execution of the PM plan.
• Coordinate staffing, recruitment, development, retention and staff reporting.
• Collaborate with service leaders on business development and pursuit for key projects.
