Job summary

HNTB in New York is seeking a Project Manager I – Engineering to oversee assigned projects through full lifecycle, including scope development, technical reviews, and contract negotiations.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure quality, on-time delivery, and client satisfaction. A bachelor’s degree in engineering and relevant experience are required; PE certification preferred and NY familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 8 years of relevant experience.
• 2 years task management or Deputy PM experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope and fee quotation, assist in proposals and contracts.
• Serve as primary client liaison and manage project team to meet scope, schedule, and budgets.
• Perform technical discipline tasks including analysis, reports, design, specification, and production.
• Lead development and execution of the project management plan; supervise team.
• Coordinate staffing, recruitment, development and performance reviews.
• Support business development with clients and pursuit efforts for strategic projects.
