Job summary

BETA Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Transportation Project Manager to lead highway and multimodal projects in Rhode Island and New England. You will manage scope, budgets, schedules, and client expectations while mentoring professionals and building strong client relationships.

You’ll coordinate planning through construction, collaborate with RIDOT and municipal partners, and thrive in an ESOP-owned, employee-focused environment offering a hybrid work schedule and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required or in scope.
• 8 to 15+ years of related engineering experience in highway design and related fields.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil3D, ArcGIS/Pro, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation projects from planning through construction.
• Develop and manage scope, budgets, schedules, staffing, and deliverables.
• Direct multidisciplinary project teams across engineering disciplines.
• Review plans, calculations, and reports for quality and constructability.
• Coordinate permitting and regulatory requirements throughout project development.
