Job summary

LVI Associates in Providence, RI, is seeking a Transportation Engineering Project Manager to lead high-profile roadway and multimodal projects. Hybrid work setup with a focus on mentoring staff, managing client relationships, and driving Northeast project delivery.

Qualified candidates have a PE license, a civil/transportation engineering background, and 8+ years of related experience, including coordination with DOTs.

Qualifications

• ,Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
• - PE license is required.
• - 8+ years of transportation engineering experience including roadway design and project management.
• - Experience with DOT agencies (MassDOT, RIDOT, NHDOT or similar).
• - Knowledge of transportation design standards and project delivery processes.
• - Experience managing budgets, schedules and client relationships.
• - Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee transportation engineering projects from planning through design and construction.
• Lead the preparation of roadway and Complete Streets design plans, specifications, and bid documents.
• Coordinate corridor, intersection, downtown, and multimodal transportation improvement projects.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and overall project performance.
• Prepare scopes, fee proposals, and contracts.
• Build and maintain relationships with municipalities, state agencies, and other clients.
• Present project information to clients, stakeholders, and the public.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineering staff while managing team workloads and development.
