Job summary

Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) Fort Wayne office is seeking a Project Manager Associate to oversee a portfolio of about 70 projects, ensuring timely delivery of the Capital Program while maintaining quality and financial standards.

The role involves directing project planning, execution, and closeout; coordinating with Subject Matter Experts and other Project Managers; and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Clear and concise communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage projects of low to moderate complexity up to $5.0 million.
• Familiarity with the Uniform Relocation Assistance Real Property Acquisition Act requirements.
• Experience managing environmental documents.
• 4+ years in project management or completion of Purdue's PM Essentials Course within 12–24 months of employment.
• Knowledge of permit requirements and project standards in rural, suburban and urban areas.

Responsibilities

• Oversee portfolio of ~70 projects at the Fort Wayne INDOT office, ensuring timely delivery of the Capital Program.
• Direct planning, execution and closeout of projects to meet quality and financial standards.
• Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts and other Project Managers.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in district and statewide agency improvement initiatives.
