Primary Responsibilities
  1. Serve in a project management and technical role overseeing the engineering development of urban and rural highway/roadway projects.
  2. Oversee the preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates for multi-disciplinary projects for clients such as CDOT and local agencies.
  3. Manage CAD Designers and EITs, providing training and mentorship to junior staff.
  4. Participate in project phases from site feasibility analysis to final design and construction.
  5. Experience with urban and rural highways, interchanges, intersection design, traffic management, transportation planning, and site planning is required.
  6. Coordinate survey, grading, drainage, utilities, and layout of site items.
  7. Engage in client interactions and maintain effective communication.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of highway and municipal roadway design experience.
  • 2-4 years of project management experience.
  • Experience with CDOT and Colorado municipal projects.
  • Proficiency with Bentley OpenRoads Designer and AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
  • Ability to foster client relationships and lead pursuit efforts.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Local candidates preferred.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • 7 years of related experience.
  • At least 2 years of project management experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project; Access experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
