Colorado Springs or Denver

Compensation Range:

$140,000-$190,000 (FLSA Exempt). This is an estimated pay range. Final pay rate will be determined based on internal equity, salary ranges, skills, experience, and market conditions.

Job Summary

Basis Partners Transportation Design Team is growing! This position will collaborate with our Design Leads and Engineers to support the firm's growth. The role involves providing leadership in project management, business development, people management, and department operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project management: Leading transportation projects and managing project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
2. Business development: Pursuing potential projects, maintaining industry relationships, and leading proposal efforts.
3. Staff management and planning: Supervising team members, overseeing operations, and talent acquisition.

Requirements

• B.S. Civil Engineering, P.E. (Colorado or ability to obtain licensure)
• 10+ years of experience, including 6+ years in project management and business development

Preferred Experience

• Leadership of teams on complex transportation projects
• Expertise in Transportation Design and Business Development (Drainage, Structures, Traffic, Roadway)
• Experience working with CDOT and local agencies
• Proven ability to build client relationships and develop new markets
