Job summary

HDR is seeking a Transportation Project Manager in Roanoke to lead multidisciplinary teams through the full project lifecycle, from development to close-out, delivering quality transportation solutions.

You’ll develop budgets, schedules, staffing plans and invoices; coordinate client relations and project meetings; ensure deliverables meet schedule constraints; apply QA/QC procedures; and contribute to HDR’s employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
7 years related experience in transportation or related fields.
Minimum 2 years project management experience.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred/required in some locations.
MS Office and MS Project experience is required.
Demonstrated leadership and active participation in an employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

Direct and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's lifecycle.
Develop project budgets, schedules, staffing plans, and invoices.
Produce and coordinate several small to medium projects concurrently.
Establish and maintain client relations and participate in meetings.
Conduct work sessions for deliverable development with staff and stakeholders.
Track financials and ensure work stays within budget and schedule.
Implement QA/QC procedures and perform other duties as needed.
