Job summary

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or Microstation OpenRoads is essential. Candidates should have a BSCE, a PE license in Colorado or ability to obtain within six months, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• BSCE from an accredited four-year college or university.
• 5–8 years of civil engineering experience focused on transportation and municipal/private clients.
• PE license in Colorado or the ability to obtain within six months.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation OpenRoads.
• Knowledge of AASHTO, CDOT, NACTO, and MUTCD design guidelines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Some experience with business development and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage tasks and teams on transportation projects.
• Perform design services for roadway and site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and erosion control.
• Prepare construction plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation OpenRoads.
• Prepare specifications and cost estimates.
• Plan and coordinate projects with limited supervision.
• Assist in assigning duties and schedules to team members.
• Prepare proposals and project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Provide construction support services.
