Job summary

The Supervisory Transportation Assistant at the Phoenix VA Health Care System leads the Beneficiary Travel program within VA's Veterans Health Administration. You will plan, direct, and manage daily operations, guiding Transportation Assistants and ensuring compliance with federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience: 1 year at GS-6 or equivalent, supervising employees, overseeing office operations, and budget/financial management.
• Competencies include Conflict Management, Influencing/Negotiating, Planning and Evaluating, Supervisory, and Situational Judgment.
• SSJT assessment required as part of the process.
• Experience may be paid or voluntary, including National Service programs.
