Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Civil Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 15+ years of transportation engineering experience.
• Proven ability to grow business and maintain client relationships in the transportation sector.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and client-facing communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial, self-directed mindset with collaborative leadership.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute a growth strategy for transportation engineering practice, identify new markets, pursuits, and partnerships while deepening trusted client relationships
• Serve as a visible market leader who opens doors and positions the firm for long-term regional success
• Lead and support project delivery with focus on client experience, technical quality, collaboration, and outcomes
• Build a financially strong and sustainable practice by managing budgets, schedules, risk, performance, and growth
• Develop, mentor, and empower project managers and engineers
• Foster collaboration across local and regional offices
• Encourage staff engagement in professional societies and industry leadership
• Represent the firm as a transportation leader at client meetings, industry events, and strategic pursuits
