Job summary

Mead & Hunt, Inc. in Columbia, MD, seeks a Transportation Planning Supervisor to lead the Urban Mobility and Transit Planning Department. You will supervise staff, manage projects and budgets, and conduct multimodal analyses for public sector clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field and three years of consulting experience.
• Associate degree in engineering and five years of consulting experience.
• No degree? seven years of relevant experience in a consulting business.
• BS Civil Engineering degree (or higher) from an accredited university is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assigns work to staff and monitors workload among team members.
• Reviews budgets and handles billing/invoicing for projects.
• Manages projects and provides technical oversight.
• Coordinate, evaluate, and recommend staff training.
• Lead multimodal traffic analysis and transportation studies.
• Support and lead business development and proposal efforts.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations.
