Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Prepare trip generation estimates, roadway and parking analyses as part of the team.
• Assist in analyzing field data, maps, drawings, and aerial photos for projects.
• Obtain and interpret regional transportation planning data.
• Use planning software to prepare engineering and planning documents.
• Assist in transportation impact studies and traffic analyses.
• Collect field data as needed and serve as onsite project representative.
• Maintain quality system tasks per the manual; assist with general office duties.

Duties and Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Preparation of trip generation estimates, roadway volume development, parking estimates, and analyses for their projects within the team.

• Assisting in the analysis of field data, reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, tests, and aerial photographs to plan projects.

• Obtaining, analyzing, and interpreting demographic and other regional transportation planning data.

• Use of computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and planning documents.

• Assisting in the preparation or modification of planning documents, including transportation impact studies, and traffic operational analyses, for projects.

• Assisting in the collection of field data.

• Serving as onsite project representative.

• Use of planning software and equipment to prepare engineering, design, and planning documents.

• Responsible for job-specific quality system tasks as defined in the quality manual or handbook.

• Responsible for other general office duties as may be assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related fields

• Engineer in Training Certification Preferred

• Experience utilizing any or all of the following: Synchro, SimTraffic, Excel, AutoCAD/MicroStation (preferred but not required)

• Aptitude for detail-oriented work assignments

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Strong work ethic and ability to work on multiple projects and ability to meet multiple deadlines

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

• Valid Driver’s License

• Experience with preparing traffic and parking studies (preferred but not required)

Pay Range: $75,000 - $90,000
