Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking a Planning Intern for Summer 2027 to assist our Central States office with project support, data collection and graphics development. You will work under supervision on transportation planning tasks, documentation, and file management in a dynamic team environment.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a related undergrad or grad program, with interest in transportation planning and potential AutoCAD or MicroStation experience.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a related undergraduate or graduate program.
• AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience.
• Strong interest in transportation and infrastructure.
• Experience and/or interest in Traffic Modeling.

Responsibilities

• Assists project team members with various support tasks.
• Conducts basic research and data collection.
• Maintains records, collections and files related to specific projects.
• Assist in the development of graphics, presentation materials and reports.
• Performs other duties assigned.
