Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Denver seeks a Transportation Planning Intern for Summer 2026. Interns will assist with research, data collection, and project support tasks. Ideal candidates are enrolled in a related degree program and have skills in ArcGIS, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Excel. The position is full-time and does not provide relocation housing. Salary range is $23.18 - $34.76 per hour, depending on qualifications and location.

What You’ll Do:

• Assists project team members with various support tasks.

What You’ll Need:

• Enrolled in a related undergraduate or graduate program

What We Prefer:

• ArcGIS experience
• Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) experience
• Microsoft Excel and/or Data Science (Python, R, etc.)
• Writing and communication skills
• AutoCAD and/or Microstation experience
• Strong interest in transit, transportation design, and urban planning.

The approximate pay range for Colorado is $23.18 - $34.76. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
