Job summary

HNTB in Atlanta, GA invites a Planning Intern for Summer 2027 to gain hands-on experience supporting transportation projects. You will work under close supervision on tasks from our project teams, helping with data collection, graphics, and reports.

Ideal candidates are enrolled undergraduate or graduate students with an interest in transportation and infrastructure; familiarity with AutoCAD or MicroStation is a plus, and experience or interest in Traffic Modeling is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a related undergraduate or graduate program.
• Interest in transportation and infrastructure; AutoCAD/MicroStation experience is a plus.
• Interest in Traffic Modeling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists project team members with various support tasks.
• Conducts basic research and data collection.
• Maintains records, collections and files related to specific projects.
• Assist in the development of graphics, presentation materials and reports.
• Performs other duties assigned.
