HNTB's Central States office is seeking a Planning Intern for Summer 2027 across Des Moines, IA; Kansas City MO; Oklahoma City OK; Overland Park KS; St. Louis MO. You will assist project team members, conduct basic research, maintain records, and help develop graphics and reports.

You must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, with interest in transportation and infrastructure. Preference given to those with AutoCAD or MicroStation experience and interest in traffic modeling.

• Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program related to planning or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Assists project team members with various support tasks.
• Conducts basic research and data collection.
• Maintains records, collections and files related to specific projects.
• Assist in the development of graphics, presentation materials and reports.
• Performs other duties assigned.
