The Transportation Planner is responsible for activities related to inbound less than truckload (LTL) and truckload shipments. The planner coordinates with vendors, carriers, and Multiquip warehouses the carrier booking requirements, creating and updating the transportation management system (TMS) order/shipment information, providing shipment documents (BOL and shipping labels), arrange vendor and carrier pick up, and schedule delivery appointments (if required) with Multiquip warehouses. Transportation Planners are also responsible for LTL outbound shipments in reviewing booking requests from warehouses, order consolidation and updating orders/shipments, and assigning alternate LTL carriers in the TMS. The candidate must have experience with Multiquip Shipping process or freight brokerage managed transportation program/system.

Education and Work Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics/Operation and/or three years of experience in freight brokerage managed transportation.
Brokerage, LTL and truckload training certifications.
Knowledge of SAP systems is a plus.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
