Job summary

Divert Inc. is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to lead the facility’s daily operations at the Mechanicsburg, PA plant. You will supervise a transportation team, drive safety culture, and coordinate route planning, scheduling, and driver management.

The role requires 2–5 years of CDL driving with a valid Class A license and prior supervision experience. On-site work with regional travel, offering strong bonus potential and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2-5 years CDL Driving experience.
• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Previous supervision role focused on people and process leadership.
• Organizational and leadership skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with computer tasks and programs (e.g. Microsoft products).

Responsibilities

• Safety: Maintain a safe and effective work environment via hands-on training and documented processes.
• Performance: Improve transportation efficiency by tracking and analyzing data.
• Service: Meet transportation needs to achieve goals and objectives.
• Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day transportation ops including route planning, scheduling, and driver management; investigate issues and implement follow-ups.
• People Management: Conduct performance reviews and address employee issues.
• Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage transportation budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintenance: Coordinate with Transportation personnel for maintenance plans.
