WM (Waste Management) is seeking an Operations Manager / Transportation Manager to lead field-based driver teams, oversee daily transportation operations, and foster a safety-first culture. The role involves onboarding, coaching, mentoring, and performance management of drivers and helpers with a strong focus on frontline engagement and safety.

The ideal candidate will have a solid DOT/transportation logistics background, proven leadership, and a passion for developing drivers through coaching

Qualifications

• Leadership and coaching of field driver teams.
• Understanding of DOT regulations and transportation logistics.
• Ability to conduct route observations and ride-alongs.

Responsabilités

• Onboard, develop, coach, mentor, and manage driver performance.
• Maintain positive relationships with frontline employees.
• Spend most time in the field with frontline staff to support daily duties.
• Ensure safety practices are paramount and document regulatory compliance.
• Conduct root cause investigations for injuries and incidents.
