Job summary

Shamrock Foods Company is seeking a Transportation Manager to direct daily Transportation Department operations, coordinate routing and delivery tasks, and supervise associates to ensure efficient use of vehicles and manpower.

The role requires knowledge of DOT regulations, at least 3 years of related experience (preferably in food service), and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Class A CDL is preferred; a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Knowledge of federal and state DOT regulations applicable to DOT law.
• Minimum of 3 years related experience (preferably in Food Service).
• Class A CDL preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Direct routing and delivery activities and supervise Transportation Department associates.
• Analyze costs to control expenditures and manage overtime per budget.
• Collaborate with HR on recruitment, training, terminations, and driver performance per DOT laws and policies.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance of tractors and trailers to meet safety and DOT compliance.
