Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 2-3 years of experience in transportation/logistics or equivalent military experience, with ability to work across multiple shifts including nights/weekends.
• Strong professional communication skills and ability to build healthy working relationships.
• Experience in delivering commitments, maintaining customer relationships, and providing feedback for improvement.
• Ability to analyze situations, process information accurately, and make productive decisions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and travel to account locations.
• Adaptability to a dynamic work environment and on-call requirements.
• Experience in holding people accountable and managing difficult conversations.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with drivers and safety to minimize turnover and maximize productivity.
• Fill in for absent personnel and support special projects to optimize fleet operations and profitability.
• Train drivers and staff, including coordination with internal and third-party systems.
• Analyze fleet operations and profitability; present KPIs and financial analyses to customers.
• Manage inventory, assets, and driver assignments to balance equipment.
• Perform payroll, coaching, invoicing, and reporting duties.
• Maintain yard operations, schedule maintenance, and address safety issues.
• Collaborate with drivers, customers, and staff to resolve service issues and route plans.
• Ensure DOT compliance and company safety policies are followed.
