CPC Logistics Inc. is seeking a Transportation Operations Manager based in Madison, WI. You will manage daily operations for about 130 drivers serving clients in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa, with required travel.

The role includes scheduling, payroll, HR tasks, driver interviews/hiring, DOT file management, safety program administration, and driver training. Occasional evenings, nights, and weekends are expected; benefits include a competitive base salary plus bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years in transportation and personnel management.
• Thorough knowledge of FMCSR and DOT regulations.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet.
• Valid Operator’s License; four-year degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations for ~130 drivers across WI/IL/IA.
• Assist scheduling, payroll, and HR functions.
• Interview and hire CDL drivers and staff.
• DOT driver file management and safety program admin.
• Conduct driver safety meetings and incident investigations.
• Oversee local office and admin personnel; serve as primary customer contact.
• Occasional overnight travel; some weekend work.
