Job summary

Amazon is seeking Transportation Area Managers to support operations across the country, focusing on safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity. You will lead a team of Transportation Associates, drive standard work, mentor hourly staff, and collaborate with site leadership on metrics and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include ensuring training, managing safety and delivery promises, and implementing Lean initiatives to accelerate change with speed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with site leadership on quality and Customer Experience metrics, including root cause analysis.
• Streamline logistics in the operation through standard work and team leadership.
• Support and commit to safety programs and OSHA compliance.
• Identify and lead Lean process improvement initiatives.
