Job summary

Amazon is seeking Transportation Area Managers to work across the United States. You will lead a team of transportation associates, align with site leadership on quality and customer experience metrics, and drive improvements to safety, productivity, and on-time delivery.

This role requires 2+ years in people or performance management, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent (or significant Amazon experience), and flexibility to work weekends, nights, or holidays.

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with site leadership on quality and Customer Experience metrics.
• Streamline logistics in the operation through the implementation of standard work and team leadership.
• Support and commit to all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates.
• Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools.
