Job summary

syncreon is seeking an experienced Transportation Supervisor based in Union City, GA to plan, direct and coordinate our facility's logistics operations. You will drive performance, productivity and efficiency through effective methods and strategies.

You will oversee order cycles, monitor transport costs and fleet maintenance, and collaborate with approved carriers to meet customer expectations. This role offers growth within an international logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
• Experience in operational and plant management duties, preferably in automotive or logistics.
• Knowledge of material planning and logistics operations.
• Familiarity with various means of transport and transit times.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and control the order cycle and related information systems.
• Monitor quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of movement and storage of goods.
• Assign approved service providers for transportation based on carrier matrix, mode, service level, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure transport fleet vehicles are properly maintained.
• Identify shipments at risk of not meeting secure dates; collaborate with operations.
• Other duties as assigned.
