Job summary

syncreon in Union City, GA is seeking experienced Operations Planners to coordinate daily logistics operations across multiple shifts. You will provide rate quotes for nonstandard transportation, register orders with special requirements, and ensure on-time pickup and delivery while tracking shipments.

You will collaborate with customers to resolve inventory discrepancies, document processes, and identify improvement opportunities. Travel to the warehouse may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Customer service background in logistics with ability to handle problem resolution in timely manner.
• Strong emphasis on Excel used for tracking and analysis.
• Must be able to manage inventory in an RF. Portal, and Manual system environment.
• Understand transportation modes and service levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide rate quotes for nonstandard transportation, e.g. expedite shipments.
• Perform order registration with special requirements, extra labor, forklifts, cranes, etc.
• Ensure on-time pickup and delivery, track and trace shipments.
• Apply late reason codes for Service Failure tracking and reporting.
• Work with customer to resolve inventory discrepancies and communicate findings.
• Participate in process flow documentation and SOPs, identify improvement opportunities.
