Job summary

iGas USA, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Manager to oversee and optimize daily transportation and fleet operations. The role focuses on safe, compliant, timely, and cost-effective movement of products while maintaining high levels of customer service.

Responsibilities include planning and dispatching, driver management, and ensuring DOT/FMCSA compliance across operations. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, scheduling expertise, and a proven track record in fleet efficiency.

Qualifications

5+ years in transportation, fleet, or logistics operations.
Experience supervising drivers and teams.
Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA rules and safety practices.
Proven ability to plan dispatch, routes and optimize schedules.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, dispatch, and monitor transportation activities to ensure timely deliveries.
Manage daily driver assignments, route coverage, and delivery priorities; resolve issues.
Recruit, train, supervise, coach, and evaluate drivers; set performance expectations.
Ensure compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations, hours-of-service, ELDs, drug and alcohol testing, and inspections.
Oversee preventive maintenance scheduling, vehicle inspections, and fleet readiness.
