Job summary

The McLane Company, Inc seeks a Transportation Supervisor to oversee a group of Drivers. You will ensure safe, timely deliveries and compliance with DOT rules while coordinating with other departments for accurate dispatches.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of transport-management experience in food distribution, and knowledge of DOT regulations. We offer day-one benefits and a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of transportation management experience in food distribution.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations; AS/400 and routing software experience preferred.
• Able to work a varied and flexible schedule; proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Achieve safe, timely, and accurate deliveries using multi-stop routing systems and dispatch procedures.
• Review logs, hours of service, and DOT requirements to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with distribution center departments to ensure timely deliveries.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned by the supervisor.
