Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to lead a team of drivers ensuring safe, timely deliveries across multi-stop routes. You will monitor DOT compliance, review logs, and coordinate with distribution center departments to meet delivery targets.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor's preferred) and a minimum of 1 year in transportation management within the food distribution sector. Proficiency in DOT rules and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Experience in transportation management in food distribution beneficial.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations required; AS/400 experience preferred; routing software experience desired.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English for safety and operations communications.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision for a group of assigned drivers to ensure safe, on-time deliveries.
• Review driver logs, hours of service, and other DOT requirements to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate activities with other distribution center departments to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
• Perform additional duties; may participate in special projects at supervisor's discretion.
