MMP's Mobility Training Department is seeking an energetic Transportation Mobility Specialist for an upcoming project in the Orange County area. The Transportation Mobility Specialist (TMS) is responsible for educating participants with various disabilities about public transportation, utilizing a variety of training methods including both classroom and in-field settings. This is a field position where frequent travel is required throughout the county. Bilingual skills in Spanish is preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must have the ability to react and provide reasonable assistance to participants in the event of an emergency. The employee must occasionally lift, carry, and otherwise transport and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and climb stairs. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel mostly in the use of a computer keyboard and mouse; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, and peripheral vision and depth perception in use of a computer, in driving, and in navigating public transportation systems.
Mobility Management Partners, Inc. (MMP) is a non-profit agency providing services to various public and private agencies with a vision to see all persons have access to safe, reliable and affordable transportation regardless of physical, intellectual or economical barriers that may hinder their ability to travel independently. The services provided by MMP include travel and mobility training, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) eligibility certification, volunteer driver program coordination, informational call center services, and brokerage of coordinated transportation services.
