Job summary

Mobility Management Partners, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Mobility Specialist to educate participants with disabilities about public transportation. This field role requires frequent travel across Orange County and a bilingual capability in Spanish is preferred.

Training will be provided, and a generous benefits package with mileage reimbursement is offered. The position emphasizes independence in the field, safety of participants, and effective communication with management and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1-2 years’ experience working with seniors/individuals with disabilities
• Bilingual skills - English and Spanish preferred (reading, writing, speaking)
• Knowledge of ADA regulations and transportation services for people with disabilities
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Public presentation skills highly preferred
• MS Office proficiency; familiarity with Google Maps, Skype and Remote Desktop

Responsibilities

• Educate participants to safely utilize public transit resources in various settings
• Promote programs through outreach at events or meetings
• Learn and teach transit maps and schedules
• Travel throughout the county to fulfill project needs
• Maintain clear communications with management and staff
• Calendar field assignments using MS Outlook
• Perform other duties as assigned
