Job summary

Dot Foods, a pioneer in the food industry supply chain, is seeking a Transportation Manager in University Park, IL. You will lead transportation operations, build high-performing teams, and drive cost-efficient delivery of service.

Reports to the Director of Transportation; salary range $85,821–$128,732 with bonus opportunity. You will optimize routing, manage inbound freight, coordinate transfers between DCs, and address customer issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent Dot experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Contain costs through effective routing of customer orders and managing inbound freight by dispatching staff.
• Utilize team and equipment in a cost-effective manner.
• Manage transfer processes between distribution centers by working closely with distribution center managers.
• Address and resolve customer issues.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts while applying lean thinking and tools to eliminate waste.
