Responsibilities

• Closely monitor driver performance via available technology and control features.
• Maintain detailed records of driver pay, equipment maintenance, and equipment performance.
• Review driver logs and paperwork to ensure accuracy and DOT compliance.
• Monitor equipment to ensure safe operation and minimize breakdowns.
• Order necessary parts and equipment used in driver performance.
• Review routing and adjust for optimal efficiency.
• Hire, train, guide and discipline transportation personnel for effective asset use.
• Plan and schedule the assignment of work for transportation personnel.
• Process bi-weekly payroll and verify vendor invoices.
• Monitor fuel reports, mileage, and fuel economy.
• Manage monthly expenses and implement necessary changes.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety practices.
• Direct and coordinate driver observations on safe operations and delivery procedures.
