Job summary

McLane is seeking a Transportation Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate repairs, maintenance, and Capital Expense projects for our transportation fleet. You will lead technicians, manage budgets, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced distribution environment.

The role requires a 4-year degree and 5+ years of supervision in heavy equipment, with ASE certifications and a CDL preferred. Compensation includes benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree or equivalent professional training in heavy maintenance.
• 5+ years of maintenance supervision experience in a automotive or heavy-duty shop.
• Strong leadership, organization, planning and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Develop budgets for repair, maintenance, and spare parts inventory.
• Negotiate maintenance contracts and third-party support.
• Coordinate daily activities of Technicians and ensure productivity and safety.
• Maintain training and certifications for the team.
• Utilize Fleet Assistant to optimize asset utilization.
