Qualified candidates have 5 years of highway construction/maintenance experience with supervisory duties and a Maryland Class C driver's license. The role requires availability for evenings, weekends, holidays and on-call work.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Five years of highway construction/maintenance experience with supervisory duties.
• Note: Provisional licenses not acceptable; upload license with application.
• Maryland Class C noncommercial driver's license required; out-of-state licenses acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the highway maintenance yard.
• Direct maintenance, repair, equipment operations and office support.
• Supervise field operations and oversee weather-related roadwork hazards.
