Our client in the e-commerce sector in Nashville is seeking a Transportation Logistics Specialist to support on-time pickup and delivery across the supply chain network, coordinating with vendors, fulfillment centers, rail yards and shipper hubs.

The role emphasizes customer service, problem solving and strong communication in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment with growth opportunities; contract for 6 months with potential extensions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; at least 18 years old.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service, call center, or related support experience; logistics a plus.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings/nights, and holidays.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide carrier and driver support in a high-volume operations environment and resolve disruptions.
• Monitor load execution and coordinate repair requests to maintain on-time performance.
• Generate operational reports using internal systems and data from multiple sources.
• Collaborate with carriers, rail partners, and field operations to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Support peak periods and weather-related ops, with overtime as needed.

Our client, e-commerce industry, is seeking a Transportation Logistics Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will be part of the team that supports regions and shippers across the Supply Chain network and is tasked with ensuring on-time pickup and delivery of freight from vendors, fulfillment centers, rail yards and shipper hubs. An ideal candidate has a background in customer service/call center, transportation, or supply chain; along with strong communication, problem solving and organizational skills. Job Title: Transportation Logistics Specialist

Location: Nashville TN

Contract: 6 Months (extensions/conversion to permanent possible)

Pay Range: $18 - $20 hourly

Schedule: Must be flexible: Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

• Deliver exceptional carrier and driver support in a high-volume operations environment by resolving transportation disruptions and ensuring timely issue resolution.
• Monitor load execution, coordinate repair requests, and help maintain on-time pickup and delivery performance across the transportation network.
• Utilize internal systems and data from multiple sources to generate operational reports and support performance tracking and decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, carriers, rail partners, and field operations to identify trends, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement.
• Support peak-volume and weather-related operations in a fast-paced environment, including schedule adherence, overtime as needed, and assistance with over-the-road driver and carrier disruptions.
