Job summary

Eaton’s ES GDCO division in Woodridge, IL is seeking a Transportation Logistics Coordinator to support the Shipping Department. This role focuses on coordinating outbound shipments, identifying consolidation opportunities, quoting, scheduling, and maintaining shipment documentation to keep deliveries on schedule.

The position is office-based with hours of 7:30am-4:00pm and pays $21.00–$22.00 per hour. Candidates should have at least 1 year of logistics coordination experience and familiarity

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience coordinating logistics, shipping, or outbound transportation activities within a distribution or warehouse operation.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Woodridge, IL will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

• 1 year or more Warehouse Management Software experience (SAP experience is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate outbound shipments using Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Track shipments from pickup to delivery and communicate status or delays to teams.
• Identify consolidation opportunities to improve efficiency and service levels.
• Troubleshoot and resolve transportation-related issues and escalate when needed.
• Maintain accurate shipment information in transportation systems and generate reports.
• Coordinate with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and transportation providers to address changes and requests.
• Support non-standard shipment requests by identifying qualified providers, obtaining quotes, and providing rate information for quotes.
