Job summary

Capitol Region Education Council Foundation, Inc. seeks a Customer Service Representative to support student transportation programs. The role reports to the Customer Service Center Supervisor and focuses on assisting parents and school districts with transportation needs.

You will coordinate schedules, resolve issues, and maintain transportation records while liaising with schools and providers. Strong communication and Microsoft Office proficiency are required; overtime may be mandatory.

• Assist with Billing verification.
• Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a customer service representative to parents and school districts with transportation needs.
• Resolve Customer complaints.
• Work as a liaison between parents, schools and transportation providers.
• Resolve logistical issues to ensure safe and timely transportation.
• Maintain records for the transportation department including student roster, route sheets, transportation changes, alternate schedules, accident reports, database, etc.
• Assist Management as needed.
• Work on Special Projects.
• Motivate and mentor temporary staff members.
• Mandatory overtime required.
• Coordinating/Scheduling all transportation (field trips, late buses, early buses).
• Must be able to interact w/customers on a consistent basis.
