Job summary

Benore Logistic Systems, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Specialist to oversee daily operations of Class A CDL drivers and company equipment in Greer, SC. You will ensure safe, efficient transport, regulatory compliance, and timely pickups/deliveries while coordinating with engineering for capacity planning.

The role emphasizes leadership, performance management, and effective communication with drivers, customers, and leadership to maintain service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in management, business, logistics, transportation, or related field required.
• At least three years of supervisory experience in transport or logistics.
• Industry experience in transportation or logistics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities of Class A CDL drivers and company equipment.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and policy adherence (DOT, FMCSA, OSHA).
• Monitor driver performance, attendance, and asset utilization.
• Maintain transportation records and use TMS and reporting tools.
• Coordinate capacity planning with engineering to meet service commitments.
• Coach and develop drivers; handle performance issues per policy.
• Communicate with customers, drivers, and leadership on service issues.
• Prepare reports and maintain documentation on time.
• Drive cost efficiency, reduce idle time, and sustainability efforts.
• Lead process improvements and support ISO-related standards.

Education

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in management, business, logistics, transportation, or a related field

Minimum of three years of related supervisory experience

Transportation or logistics industry experience preferred

Tools

Microsoft 365 Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)

Transportation management systems (TMW/McLeod)
