Job summary

HUB International in Montana is seeking an Account Manager to serve a growing transportation client book. You will foster positive client relationships, coordinate with carriers, and support renewal and policy inquiries.

The role emphasizes proactive service, attention to detail, and teamwork within HUB's Mountain States network. Candidates with 1–2 years in insurance and a Property & Casualty license (or willingness to obtain) are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years insurance industry experience preferred or professional business experience.
• Active Property & Casualty license; or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment
• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
• Excellent customer service and proactive relationship management.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Office and automated agency management systems
• Ability to take direction and follow instructions effectively, while demonstrating initiative and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a positive team environment and collaborative culture
• Broad knowledge of insurance products and usages and ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Manage a book of transportation accounts and act as the primary contact for clients.
• Market to carriers and prepare quotes and proposals.
• Respond to policy inquiries via email and phone.
• Maintain renewal controls on expirations and binders.
• Check policies/endorsements/audits for accuracy and keep files organized.
