Job summary

HUB International is seeking an Account Manager in the Mountain States region (Idaho, Montana, Wyoming). You will manage transportation accounts, market to carriers, and prepare quotes and proposals for clients.

You will respond quickly to policy inquiries, maintain renewal controls, and ensure accuracy of policies and endorsements. The role requires 1–2 years in insurance, a valid P&C license or willingness to obtain it within 90 days, and strong customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years insurance industry experience preferred or professional business experience.
• Active Property & Casualty license; or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment
• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
• Excellent customer service and proactive relationship management.
• Strong written and oral communication skills across all levels
• Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office and agency management systems
• Ability to take direction and follow instructions, while showing initiative and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a positive team environment and collaborative culture
• Broad knowledge of insurance products and usages and ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Manage a book of transportation accounts and market to carriers.
• Prepare quotes and proposals for clients.
• Respond promptly to policy inquiries via email and phone.
• Maintain renewal controls on expirations and binders.
• Check policies/endorsements/audits for accuracy; maintain organized account files
