Job summary

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a degree seeking program in Civil or Transportation Engineering or a closely related field.
• Knowledge of and experience using CAD/Design software (preferably AutoCAD Civil 3D)
• Ideally, you’ll also have previous experience design or transportation-related coursework

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic highway/roadway geometric design calculations
• Help prepare technical reports and design documentation
• Utilizing CAD to prepare engineering drawings, layouts, and models
• Familiarize with local, state, and federal design standards and requirements
